Meet Bronwyn!
She's a basset hound mix with good manners and a heart for helping.
Hospitably designed to hold doors open for you, Bronwyn is made entirely of cast iron. That means she's hefty in weight, but also she's light in spirit and so full of personality it's hard to pass by without throwing a smile in her direction.
Although it's difficult to find similar siblings of Bronwyn's size and stature, she's most likely a reproduction of an earlier style of vintage and antique cast iron dog doorstops that have been popular pretty much since doors were invented. Like many found dogs, her ancestry is a little bit of a mystery. She could be all basseet hound or a combo of beagle and basset, otherise known as a bagle. Lineage aside, Bronwyn might not be ancient in age, but that is fine by us because she's passionate about history and has yet to meet an antique door that she doesn't not want to snuggle up with.
As a dog with dual interests, Bronwyn also loves the literary life and is more than happy to be the bookend to your favorite stack on the shelf. Just in case your doors are fine as they are and prefer to stay open on their accord.
